Caring for Your Sheltie
Bathing: Only bathe your Sheltie when it is necessary. Over bathing can remove the oils from their coat and cause dry skin, leading to shedding.
Brushing: Shelties shed a lot and should be brushed daily in order to remove any loose hairs that lead to shedding.
Tipping: Although Shelties naturally have tipped ears, some only have one ear that is tipped while others have none. You can tip your Sheltie’s ears by weighing them down, sometimes by taping a coin to the tips, or by gluing.
