Blue Merle
Blue Merles have a light blue/gray or red coloring that contains the colors gray, white, black (mostly shaded to gray), and sometimes tan.
Mating two Blues Merles together results in a 1 in 4 possibility of producing what is called a Double Merle. Double Merles are mostly white, which is most apparent in the head and ears region. It is common for Double Merles to have both hearing and vision problems, and therefore, the breeding of Double Merles should be discouraged.
